Presentation

Does the manuscript present a coherent and well-structured argument? Are the ideas articulated clearly and logically?

Writing

Does the title accurately reflect the content of the manuscript? Is the writing clear, precise, and easy for readers to follow?

Length

Which sections of the manuscript would benefit from expansion, removal, condensation, summarization, or integration with other parts to improve clarity and focus?

Title

Is the title concise and representative of the core findings or conclusions of the manuscript, avoiding unnecessary terms or abbreviations?

Abstract

Does the abstract include: (1) the purpose of the study; (2) the methodology; (3) the key results or findings; and (4) the conclusion?

Introduction

Cleary describing and including:

  • The background and context of the study;
  • A review of relevant literature to support the novelty of the manuscript;
  • A gap analysis leading to a clear novelty statement;
  • A hypothesis or problem statement (optional);
  • The approach used to address the research problem; and
  • The aim of the study.

Method

  • The method is written in sufficient detail to allow replication by other researchers;
  • Descriptions go beyond definitions and clearly explain how the research was conducted;
  • Includes information on the research setting, participants, instruments, and data analysis procedures;

Result and discussion

  • Processed data are presented through tables or figures with clear explanations;
  • Findings relate directly to the research questions or objectives stated in the Introduction;
  • Results are discussed in relation to existing studies, highlighting similarities or differences;
  • Interpretations are supported by scientific reasoning;
  • The implications of the findings are explained;
  • Limitations of the research or method are acknowledged;
  • Suggestions for future research or development of ideas are provided;

Conclusion

The conclusion should:

  • Directly answer the research objectives;
  • Provide implications or recommendations (optional);
  • Be written in paragraph form rather than bullet points.
