This article discusses strategies to enhance elementary school students' literacy through the optimization of reading corners by applying book variation and regular rotation. The study is grounded in the issue of low student literacy levels, influenced by limited book collections and infrequent updates of reading materials. Using a literature study approach, this research explores the effectiveness of reading corner management. Findings reveal that genre variation and regular updates to the reading collection significantly improve students’ reading interest, frequency, and quality. Actively managed reading corners foster an enjoyable literacy culture, supported by the role of teachers as facilitators, and strengthened through collaboration with parents and communities. Additionally, the integration of digital technology broadens access and makes reading more relevant in the modern era. In conclusion, the strategy of book rotation and variation in reading corners is proven effective in establishing a sustainable literacy culture. Key recommendations include strengthening school policy, providing continuous teacher training, and ensuring reading materials are aligned with students’ developmental needs to holistically improve literacy outcomes.Published
